Need help creating a Reddit account—any tips for beginners? or What should I know before creating a R

Creating a Reddit account is straightforward, but here’s what I wish I knew:

- Throwaway email = less spam. SimpleLogin or AnonAddy are great for this.
- Usernames? Literally no one judges. Mine’s "ThrowawayMcFake" and I’ve never been roasted.
- Turn off "recommended content" in settings—it’s mostly garbage.

App’s fine, but old.reddit.com (with RES) is elite if you’re on desktop.
