Hey everyone! So I’ve been kinda paranoid lately about my IP getting exposed. Like, *what can people do with your IP* really? I know it’s not like they can instantly hack you or whatever, but still…
From what I’ve read, they can:
- See your general location (not your exact address, but close enough).
- DDoS you if they’re salty in a game or something lol.
- Maybe try to port scan your network (scary but rare unless you’ve got enemies?).
But tbh, unless you’re leaking it everywhere, it’s *usually* not a huge deal. Still, using a VPN or just being careful where you share it helps.
