tun2socks is *mostly* reliable for TCP traffic, but UDP can be hit or miss depending on the implementation. I’ve had issues with DNS leaks when using it with some apps, so I’d recommend pairing it with something like dnscrypt-proxy to seal those gaps.

IPv6? Nah, it’s kinda shaky. Most tun2socks setups just drop IPv6 or don’t handle it properly. If you’re serious about routing *everything*, you might wanna look into WireGuard + socks5 proxy instead.

For a more robust solution, check out shadowsocks-libev—it’s built for this kinda thing and way less janky.
