tun2socks is decent if you’re just trying to route TCP traffic, but it’s not a silver bullet. I’ve had weird issues with some apps ignoring the tunnel entirely.

If you’re on macOS, Little Snitch can help force everything through the proxy. For Linux, iptables is your friend.

IPv6? Just turn it off. tun2socks + IPv6 = pain.
