I used one called "GhostIP" for a month, and while it masked my IP, some sites flagged it as suspicious. Got captchas *everywhere*.
Free ones are usually trash—slow and leaky. If you’re gonna go this route, maybe try "HideMyIP" (paid). Still, VPNs are way better imo, but you said no VPNs so… yeah.
