"Having Trouble with Slow Internet? Could It Be How I Configure Proxy?"
yo, is anyone else’s internet crawling like a snail after they tried to configure proxy settings? i swear, i followed some random tutorial and now my connection’s worse than dial-up.
did i mess up the proxy config or is it just my ISP being trash? i’m on windows btw, and i *think* i entered the right server details… but idk.
also, does it even matter if i use auto-detect or manual when i configure proxy? or am i overcomplicating this?
pls help before i yeet my router out the window. 🙃
(ps. if u’ve got tips for linux/mac too, drop ‘em—my roommate’s having the same issue.)
