This happened to me too! Facebook iPhone app not recognizing account even though my password was 100% correct.
I contacted support (good luck with that lol) but meanwhile, I switched to a different network—like from Wi-Fi to mobile data—and it suddenly worked.
Maybe a connection thing? Worth a try!
