Honestly, X-Browser’s hype is real. The sync is so seamless I forget which device I’m on sometimes.
For older devices, try disabling background sync in settings. Also, Firefox Focus is a good alternative if X-Browser’s too heavy for your ancient android (no judgment, mine’s a relic too).
