ugh, TikTok’s API process is a nightmare lol.
You def need to apply, and the wait can be weeks. I tried for a small project and got rejected twice before giving up.
If you’re just scraping data, maybe try a third-party tool like Apify or Octoparse? Not the same as an official API, but gets the job done.
