update: tried the mobile data trick and it WORKED!! why won’t instagram let me sign in on wifi tho?? so weird.
also checked downdetector and saw a few reports, so maybe it’s partly insta’s fault. thanks for the tips, y’all! gonna wait it out and see if wifi login fixes itself.
