I feel your pain! The new login flow is such a mess. I’ve been using "Old Reddit Redirect" with a custom script to force the old reddit login flow extension 2024 style.
It’s not perfect, but it works most of the time. Just make sure to enable "old.reddit.com" in the settings.
Also, check out "Reddit Enhancement Suite" (RES)—it has some legacy options that might help.
