Hey everyone!
I’m kinda new to feature scaling and was wondering *what is minmaxscaler in python do* exactly? Like, I get that it scales data, but how does it work under the hood?
From what I’ve read, it squishes values between 0 and 1 (or whatever range u set). But why is this useful? Does it help with certain algorithms or just make things easier to compare?
Also, how do u even use it? Do u just fit it on training data and transform everything else?
Would love a simple explanation—maybe with a tiny example if possible? Thanks in advance!
(Ps. Sorry if this is a dumb question, still learning 😅)
