Browser in a browser proxies are *okay* for light use, but they’re not magic. If the proxy provider logs your traffic, you’re screwed.

For better anonymity, look into Whonix or Tails. Overkill for most, but they actually work.

And yeah, the slowdown is real—privacy costs performance.
