"How does python cache work and when should you use it?"
Hey folks!
I've been tinkering with python cache lately, and tbh, it's kinda confusing when to actually use it. Like, I get that it speeds things up by storing results, but how does it *really* work under the hood?
Is it just for expensive function calls, or are there other sneaky use cases? Also, when does it backfire?
And what's the deal with built-in stuff like `lru_cache` vs rolling your own? Feels like overkill sometimes, but maybe I'm missing something.
Would love to hear how y'all use python cache in your projects—or if you’ve ever had it bite you in the ass lol.
Cheers!
