"Having trouble trying to run a Python script? Any tips?"
Hey folks! So I’ve been trying to run a Python script on my Windows machine, and it’s been a bit of a headache.
I installed Python, wrote my script, saved it as `.py`, but when I try to run it from the command line, it just... doesn’t work? Like, I type `python script.py` and get errors or nothing happens.
Am I missing something obvious? Do I need to add Python to PATH or use `python3` instead on Mac/Linux?
Also, what’s the easiest way to run a Python script without dealing with the command line? Double-clicking sometimes works, but not always.
Any quick tips or best practices? Thanks in advance!
(PS: If you’ve got a foolproof method, pls share. I’m tired of googling this.)
