Wow, thanks for all the tips! Didn’t realize PATH was such a big deal—reinstalled Python and checked the box this time. `python script.py` works now!
Still kinda confused about why double-clicking is hit or miss, but VS Code’s F5 trick is a lifesaver.
One last thing: if I use `pyinstaller`, does it work for scripts with imports like `pandas`? Or will that break things?
