"What Can Someone Do with Your IP? Let’s Talk Privacy & Security"
Hey everyone! So, I’ve been thinking… *what can someone do with your IP* really? Like, I know it’s bad if it gets leaked, but how bad?
From what I’ve read, they can:
- Track your rough location (not your exact address, but close enough).
- DDoS you if they’re mad (annoying but usually fixable).
- Try to hack your network if it’s weak (scary stuff).
But tbh, most people won’t bother unless you’ve pissed someone off lol. Still, better safe than sorry, right?
I use a VPN sometimes, but idk if that’s overkill. What do y’all do to protect yours? Any horror stories or am I just paranoid?
