"Is PhantomJS Still a Viable Option for Headless Browsing in Modern Projects?"

Hey folks, been outta the loop for a bit and was wondering—does anyone still use phantomjs these days?

I remember it was the go-to for headless browsing back in the day, but with all the new tools like Puppeteer and Playwright, is it even worth considering anymore?

Like, can phantomjs handle modern JS-heavy sites without choking? Or is it just legacy tech at this point?

Kinda curious if anyone's still running it in prod or if it's time to fully move on.

Thanks for any insights!
