Is PhantomJS Still a Viable Option for Headless Browsing in Modern Projects? or What Are the Best Alt

I’ve tried phantomjs recently for a side project, and it was a pain.

Half the sites I tested just didn’t render properly. Switched to Playwright, and everything just worked.

If you’re starting fresh, don’t bother with phantomjs. It’s not worth the hassle.
