Hey! Had the same issue last week. Turns out my VPN was forcing the proxy settings. Try disabling the VPN first, then check how do you turn off a proxy server again in Settings.
If that doesn’t work, run the command "netsh winhttp reset proxy" in Command Prompt as admin. Fixed it for me!
Also, Malwarebytes can sometimes catch sneaky stuff messing with your settings. Worth a scan.
