Need help: How to remove a proxy server from my network settings? or What’s the easiest way to remove

Hey OP, just wanted to add—sometimes antivirus apps like Avast or McAfee mess with proxy settings.

Check their "privacy" or "network" tabs too.

And yeah, like others said, malware scans are a must. Proxies don’t just appear outta nowhere.

Weird thing tho—the proxy was turned on even though I never set it up. Should I be worried about malware? Any good free scanners y’all recommend?
