Hey everyone!
So I keep hearing the term "deadstock" thrown around, but I'm still kinda confused. Can someone define deadstock for me? Like, is it just old inventory that never sold, or does it have to be vintage or something?
I see it a lot in resale groups, but some people say it’s only deadstock if it’s brand new with tags, while others call slightly used stuff deadstock too.
What exactly counts as deadstock? Is there like a hard rule or is it kinda flexible?
Also, does it have to be from a certain era, or can it be recent stuff that just didn’t sell?
Thanks in advance for clearing this up! 🙏
