Hey everyone,
I keep hearing about proxy settings but tbh, I’m not entirely sure what they do. Like, what is proxy settings exactly? Are they just for hiding your IP or is there more to it?
Also, how do they even work? Do they slow down your internet or make it faster? And why would someone need to configure them—like for work, gaming, or just privacy?
Kinda new to this stuff, so any simple explanation would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
