So I’ve been having some weird internet issues, and I think it’s because of a proxy server? Idk how it got turned on, but now I need to figure out how to turn proxy server off.
I’m on Windows 10 btw. Tried googling but the steps are kinda confusing. Can someone break it down in simple terms? Like, where do I even find the settings for this?
Also, does turning it off mess with anything else? Just wanna make sure I don’t break my connection completely lol.

Alright, this is driving me nuts.
Every time I try to load a site, it’s super slow or just doesn’t work. Pretty sure a proxy’s the culprit. But how to turn proxy server off without causing more problems?
I’m not super techy, so pls dumb it down for me. Windows or Mac steps are cool—I might need both.
And yeah, is there a quick way to check if it’s actually off after? Don’t wanna be stuck in this loop forever.
