lol i had the same issue! where to enable inspect element on discord is tricky now.

turns out, the desktop app blocks some shortcuts. try opening discord in chrome/firefox and use ctrl+shift+i there. works like a charm.

if u *need* it on the app, some folks use devtools injectors, but that’s risky. stick to browser imo.
