Bruh, I was in the same boat. Discord hides it weirdly.
Go to User Settings (the gear near your profile pic), then "My Account." Scroll down a bit, and you’ll see "Phone Number." Tap that, enter your digits, and boom—you’re golden.
Side note: It’s totally optional unless you’re joining a server that requires verified accounts. But it’s good to have for security!
