"What causes a 409 error and how can I fix it?"

So I keep hitting this *409 error* when trying to update some stuff on my site. Super annoying, right? From what I gather, it’s a "conflict" error, but like… what’s actually causing it?
Is it a server thing? Did I mess up the data? Or is it just the API being fussy?
Anyone dealt with this before? How’d you fix it? I tried refreshing, clearing cache, even restarting the server—no luck.
Would love some tips or maybe a dumb mistake I’m missing. Thanks!
