"Has anyone tracked the amazon price over time for popular items?"

I’ve been wondering if anyone’s actually tracked the amazon price over time for stuff like AirPods, gaming consoles, or even kitchen gadgets.
Do prices *really* drop during Prime Day or Black Friday, or is it just marketing? I’ve seen some price trackers, but not sure how reliable they are.
Also, does amazon price over time actually follow any patterns, or is it totally random? Would love to hear if anyone’s done their own tracking or found a solid tool for this.
