Thanks for all the tips, folks! Turns out it *was* a duplicate ID issue—my bad for not checking the DB first.

Gonna try Postman and maybe add some retry logic like some of you suggested.

Still weird that the error message was so cryptic though. Anyone know if there’s a way to force APIs to spit out more details?
