I’ve had mixed results with domain squatting. Once, I just added a hyphen to the name and called it a day. Not ideal, but it worked.
Another time, I reached out to the squatter with a lowball offer ($200 for a domain they wanted $3k for). They ignored me at first, but after a year, they came back and accepted.
