omg the wifi thing is so annoying! For chromebook - add connection, go to settings > network > wifi and click the little arrow next to your network.

Then toggle "automatically connect" OFF and ON again. Works for me when it won’t stick.

For Firefox, just use the web version for now? Or try Puffin Browser as a temp fix.
