So, I was messing around with my Zorin OS setup the other day and realized I needed to figure out *how to set static ip zorin os* for my home server. Took me a bit to get it right, but honestly, it’s not as scary as it sounds.
Here’s the gist:
1. Open Settings > Network.
2. Click the gear icon next to your connection.
3. Go to IPv4 tab, switch to "Manual," and fill in the deets (IP, netmask, gateway, DNS).
4. Hit apply and restart your connection.
Tbh, the hardest part was double-checking my router settings to make sure the IP wasn’t already taken. 😅
Anyway, if anyone’s struggling with *how to set static ip zorin os*, feel free to ask. I’m no expert, but I’ve been through the wringer already lol.
