"Who else thinks 'Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30' nailed the squad-based combat experience?"

Man, I just replayed this gem after like 15 years... and it STILL holds up. The way you actually have to *think* about flanking, suppressing fire, and positioning your squad? Chef's kiss.

Most WWII games just throw you into mindless run-and-gun, but brothers in arms: road to hill 30 made you feel like a real leader. That "hold and assault" mechanic was ahead of its time.

Anyone else miss this level of tactical depth in modern shooters? Or am I just nostalgic? Lol.

"Is 'Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30' still the best WWII tactical shooter out there?"

Serious question—has anything topped it? The squad commands, the realism, even the story hit different.

I swear, most games now just slap "WWII" on a generic shooter. But brothers in arms: road to hill 30? Actual *tactics*.

Fight me. (Or agree, idc.)
