Which Proxy Server Port Should I Use? Help!
Alright, so I’m setting up a proxy server port for the first time, and I’m kinda lost. There are SO many options—8080, 3128, 1080, etc. Which one’s actually good for both speed *and* security?
I’ve heard 8080 is popular, but isn’t it kinda basic? Like, everyone uses it, so wouldn’t it be easier to block? And 3128 seems more for caching, but idk if that’s what I need.
Also, does the proxy server port even *matter* that much for performance? Or am I overthinking this?
