Honestly, you’re overthinking it a bit. The proxy server port won’t magically make things faster or slower. It’s just a number lol.
I use 1080 for SOCKS proxies because it’s standard, but for HTTP, 8080 or 3128 works fine. Security depends more on encryption (like HTTPS) than the port.
If you’re paranoid, just pick a random high-numbered port (like 50000+) and see if it works. No one’s gonna block that.
