Getting a 431 Error - Request Header Fields Too Large. How to Fix It? or What Causes a 431 Error and

This kept happening to me on Shopify.

Turns out, some apps were adding insane headers. Had to remove a few and it fixed the 431 error.

Also, Cloudflare can sometimes mess with headers—check if you're using it.
