If js scroll into view isn’t smooth, it might be a rendering issue. Try forcing a reflow before scrolling:

```js
const el = document.getElementById('myElement');
el.offsetHeight; // force reflow
el.scrollIntoView({ behavior: 'smooth' });
```

Weird hack, but it works more often than not.
