Wow, thanks for all the tips! Didn’t expect so many responses.

I tried lxml with XPath like some of you suggested, and it’s already way better. Still getting used to the syntax, but it’s a game-changer.

Anyone got a favorite XPath cheat sheet? I keep forgetting the wildcards.

Also, gonna check out xmlstarlet—CLI tools are my jam.
