"ETL pipelines breaking too often? How do you troubleshoot?"
Ugh, my ETL pipelines keep failing at the worst times. Like, why does it *always* happen right before a deadline?
I swear, half my job is just staring at logs trying to figure out if it’s a data issue, a connection timeout, or just the universe hating me.
My usual checklist:
- Check the source data for weird nulls or format changes (classic).
- See if the destination DB is being moody with locks or limits.
- Pray the API didn’t randomly change its response structure.
Anyone else feel like they’re just duct-taping fixes? What’s your go-to move when things blow up?
(Also, why do ETL pipelines hate Mondays more than I do?)
