"Getting slammed with 429 http errors? How are you dealing?"
Ugh, 429 http errors are the *worst*. Like, cool, I get it—you’re rate-limiting me. But why’s it gotta be so aggressive?
I’ve been hitting these stupid 429 http errors constantly when scraping data. Tried adding delays between requests, but it’s still a pain.
Anyone else running into this? What’s your hack?
- Longer delays?
- Rotating IPs?
- Just smashing F5 and hoping for the best? (lol)
Seriously though, how do y’all handle this without losing your mind? Share your secrets!
(Also, if you’ve got a magic fix for 429 http errors, pls don’t gatekeep. We’re all suffering here.)
