Yo, same prob here! My fix was to manually edit the Windows proxy settings (not just Chrome’s). Go to Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy and tweak there. Chrome often mirrors those.

If it’s still reverting, maybe a group policy (if you’re on a work PC) is locking it down.
