Why does my IP keep changing? Is this normal? or How often should my IP change? Is there a reason for

Hey guys, so i noticed my ip changes like... all the time? Like, i’ll check it one day and it’s totally different the next. Is this supposed to happen?

I’m on a home wifi btw, not like some fancy VPN or anything. My friend says it’s normal cuz ISPs do this for "dynamic IPs" or whatever, but idk if i should be worried.

Also, does it mess with anything? Like, gaming or streaming?

Kinda weird how my ip changes without me doing anything lol. Anyone else deal with this?
