Hey! I usually use ProxyChecker or ScraperAPI to check proxies for speed and reliability.
Pinging is okay, but it won’t tell you if the proxy is actually usable for scraping or browsing.
I run a quick test with a few requests to see if they time out. Free tools like ProxyScrape work, but paid ones like Luminati give better results.
If you’re lazy (like me), just batch test ‘em and ditch the slow ones.
