wget ftw when i need to grab a ton of files or a whole directory.

curl is my go-to for quick one-liners or testing endpoints.

but yeah, the flags are a nightmare. --help is my best friend lol.

if you're on windows, maybe try powershell's invoke-webrequest? it's kinda like curl but... not really.
