I’m team curl all the way. The flexibility is insane—you can even do FTP uploads with it.

wget feels clunky to me, but I’ll admit it’s better for recursive downloads.

Also, curl’s --verbose flag is a lifesaver for debugging.

If you’re mixing up flags, maybe try writing a cheat sheet? Sounds dumb but it helps.
