Are proxy servers for privacy really enough to keep you anonymous online? or How effective are proxy

Honestly, proxy servers for privacy feel like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound. They hide your IP, sure, but that’s barely scratching the surface.

Trackers, cookies, browser fingerprints—proxies don’t fix those. You’d need stuff like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and maybe even a hardened browser like LibreWolf.

If you’re gonna use a proxy, pair it with other tools. Otherwise, you’re just half-anonymous.
