Yeah, rotating residential proxies are a game-changer if you know how to use ‘em. I’ve been using Luminati (now Bright Data) for scraping, and as long as you keep the request rate low and randomize timings, it’s smooth sailing.
But like OP said, if you go ham with requests, even residential IPs will get nuked. Also, some sites like Cloudflare are sneaky and can still detect patterns.
For anyone starting out, try Smartproxy or Oxylabs—they’ve got solid rotation and decent speeds. Just don’t expect miracles.
