Getting hit with a 429 status code - how do you handle rate limiting effectively? or Why am I seeing

429 status code = API’s version of "touch grass."

I’ve had success with axios-retry for auto-handling retries. It’s plug-and-play for most JS projects.

Also, if the API has a sandbox/test env, use that to fine-tune your rates before going live.

And yeah, sometimes you just gotta email support and ask nicely for a limit bump.
