I tried cheyenne socks 5 proxy a few months ago, and tbh, it’s kinda hit or miss. It does hide your IP, but I noticed some inconsistencies with certain websites. Like, some sites still detected my location, which was annoying.
Speed-wise, it’s not the fastest. I switched to Windscribe later, and it’s been way better for me. Less lag, easier setup, and it’s just as secure.
If you’re set on socks5, maybe check out ProxyRack or Smartproxy. They’re more user-friendly and have better speeds imo.
