"Is Earth Defense Force 4.1 Still Worth Playing in 2024?"
Hey y'all! So I dusted off my copy of Earth Defense Force 4.1 the other day and... damn, it still slaps?
The graphics are dated, sure, but the sheer chaos of blasting giant bugs and robots never gets old. Plus, the co-op is still a blast if you can find players.
But like, is it worth jumping into now? Or should I just wait for the newer ones? Curious what y’all think.

Alright, EDF noob here. Just grabbed Earth Defense Force 4.1 and... holy crap, there’s so many classes.
Wing Diver seems OP but squishy. Ranger’s basic but reliable. Fencer’s a tank but slow AF. Air Raider’s fun but complicated.
What’s your go-to? I wanna main something that’s not gonna get me wrecked instantly lol.
(Also, why do the controls feel so janky? Or is that just part of the charm?)
